In an effort to expand their research and development (R&D) facility, AstraZeneca under-took a $100 million expansion including construction of four new building wings in addition to the five currently completed.

Hunter College

Hunter College acquired land within the borough of Harlem in New York City to develop a new college facility. Two buildings were proposed: one a two-to eight-story classroom building and the other a multi-story student center building.

MBTA Copley Station

The project involved the construction of elevator access to the MBTA subway station at Copley Station in downtown Boston, MA. The construction required 25± foot deep excavations adjacent to the historic Old South Church and the Boston Public Library.

Salvation Army

The project includes partial demolition of the existing Salvation Army facility and construction of a 7,000± square foot building expansion.

Northeast Geotechnical’s principal engineers and field staff provided design and construction phase services for Shire’s two new three- and four-story office/lab buildings on their corporate campus once owned and operated by Raytheon.

Isolated surface slope failures plagued a previously constructed slope at the Westborough High School site.

Self Storage

A deep deposit of miscellaneous debris fill led Northeast Geotechnical to recommend the proposed mid-rise storage building be supported on steel H-piles that were driven up to 70± feet deep to suitable bearing.
